Gorilla's have the arms and torso of a 7'7" man
A comparison of the height, weight, and arm-span of a human and a gorilla.

They might be a lot shorter, but there's no way that both Lebron James and Ben Wallace could beat one.

No one could. But the scariest primate is easily a chimp. Gorillas have to be provoked to some degree. A chimp will happily eat a man’s face off

Tallest Gorilla ever was 6'5 with an 8'10 wingspan. That might be tall enough to touch the rim without jumping.

Imagine being 5'3", 344 lbs with a 7'9.2" wingspan.

Jason Maxiell is 6'5" barefoot, with a 7'3.25" wingspan. His standing reach is 8'11".
You'd need an extra 13" to reach 10 feet.
The Gorilla you listed has an extra 18.75" in wingspan.
It's hard to ascertain how much of this is added to the standing reach. I think a 10 feet standing reach is possible, given Gorillas have essentially no neck. As low as 9'7" and as high as 10'2" would be my guestimated range.

On a related note, look at how effortlessly this hairless monkey climbs to the top. 42 seconds in.

The scariest are definitely the chimps. They are programmed to go after the nose, fingers and toes. As well as the Tenis. Will bite it right off. And that's just if they're pissed at you.
A lion will at least first kill the animal. Gorillas seem to be very kind and gentle. (They kind of remind me of Walk on Water.)
But monkeys, **** them.

That I don't know, but if you skip to 0:57 of the embedded YouTube video, you can get a good glimpse of the monkey's balls. It seems as though they have us beat on the balls department, but not the *****.

I've seen that aggressive chimp behavior in some humans. Scary stuff.
