A bit unconventional, I know, but I'm thinking somewhat flexibly in terms of positions and playing styles. This roster is versatile by design, with two of game's greatest winners in Magic and Russell tying it together and keeping everyone in check.

    Wilt - C
Russell - PF/C (who loved to pass out of the high post)
    Barkley - SF/PF
    Iverson - SG
    Magic - PG
    McHale - 6th man (PF or C)
Nique - Dynamic scorer off the bench (SF, but could play SG in a pinch)

I don't know if I have the best team, but I do have the best rebounding one (so far), along with the best scorer and playmaker in the draft.

I'm going to stick with defense and take the underrated Nate Thurmond

I just realized my team is insanely good

A lot of the teams just have names thrown together with no thought of chemistry

I'm sorry but I have the best shooting backcourt + Giannis/Davis who recently won titles scoring 30ppg and are the best defenders in the league when healthy

Giannis is a dominant penetrator surrounded by 3 incredible shooters, two of which are the best of their position all time.

    I vote for myself

That's cute. Hakeem & KG are arguably the best defenders ever at their position.

Giannis and KG are close defensively and both extremely versatile. but Giannis is a tier or two better than KG offensively.. would've won back to back championships scoring 30+ppg, over 12 boards and 5+ assists had Middleton not got hurt... that's insane. And he's surrounded by Klay and Bird shooting when he penetrates. Not fair.

Nah. There's still plenty of great players left on that board.

Robert "the Chief" Parish - I need a complementary piece for my front court options and the Chief is the ideal man: strong, agile, very consistent, possessing an impressive mid-range jump-shot and a solid low-post scorer and rebounder over many years. The Chief will elevate his teammates. A 9x All-Star, Parish formed a formidable front court with Bird and McHale in the 80s, helping to neutralize some of the very best centers the NBA has ever seen.

George "the Iceman" Gervin - another pure scorer to add to my wings, Gervin was one of the most unstoppable scorers in NBA history: 4× NBA scoring champion (1978, 1979, 1980 & 1982). Lethal and efficient within 15 feet and the perimeter when there was no 3-point line. His other personal accolades included 9x All-Star and 7x All-NBA.
