    Voting in reality has virtually no impact on politics.
    I strongly disagree. If Trump had won, the Keystone Pipeline would be closer to completion (instead of shut down), gas would be $2+ and we wouldn't be having to beg Saudis (and looks like Venezuela) to increase oil production. The American Rescue plan, chips bill, Inflation Reduction Act would never have been passed (probably not the infrastructure bill either). Inflation would be nowhere near where it is now.

    IMO, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if Trump were president (Putin probably thinks Trump is crazier than he is and oil would be cheap [Putin wouldn't have the money to do it]) and there would not be the energy crisis there is in Europe now/this winter.

    Also, US wouldn't be wasting billions sending weapons aid to Ukraine.

    i highly doubt that. trump was always one to cave to his generals and the military industrial complex. trump talks a big game and conservatives for some reason tend to think that if he says something, it's automatic policy written in stone. they just eat it up. it's nothing but manipulation. he's an absolute master at politics.

    ukraine aid packages have been a largely agreeable bipartisan effort on behalf of raytheon and... that other one i can't think of rn. trump wouldn't block those packages under so much pressure. he'd talk shit on the stump and tweet about it for awhile and then cave.

    fultz is right - voting is meaningless.

    Keystone xl pipeline was 8% finished at the end of Trump's first term. You are completely clueless if you think the president controls the gas prices or had something to do with the inflation.

    Chips bill, inflation reduction bill and most of the infrastructure bill does not go into effect until next year. You are right - Trump would have accomplished nothing, especially none of those bills. Republicans already lost the house and senate under president Trump. He is a career loser, and that is your champion. The same loser who couldn't even beat senile old Joe Biden. And you think he would have done much better and been better for the country?

    Putin would have probably invaded and had all of Ukraine by now. It's Biden sending over weapons that has kept Ukraine upright and Putin in desperation. Putin is forced to draft new soldiers because he is getting his sh!t pushed in.

    If you both think it's so meaningless, don't vote.

    Everyone, let's be serious for a moment. You've got to vote for Trump in 2024. This country is in shambles.

    Texas Governor's Race: Abbott Leads O'Rourke 53% - 46%, Quinnipiac University Texas Poll Finds; Texas-Mexico Border Ranks As #1 Issue Among Likely Voters

    Six weeks before Election Day, Republican incumbent Greg Abbott has a 7-point lead over Democratic challenger Beto O'Rourke 53 - 46 percent in the Texas governor's race, according to a Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh- pea-ack) University poll of likely voters in Texas released today.

    This is Quinnipiac's first poll of likely voters in Texas' 2022 election and cannot be compared to earlier polls of registered voters.

    Republicans support Abbott 96 - 3 percent, while Democrats support O'Rourke 96 - 4 percent. Among independents, 53 percent support Abbott, while 46 percent support O'Rourke.

    "The race for the top job in Austin leans toward Abbott, who has very strong support from white Texans, particularly white men, while O'Rourke has overwhelming appeal among Black voters and strong support among young voters,"
    said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.

    Nearly all likely voters (96 percent) who support a candidate in the race for governor say their minds are made up about how they will cast their vote, while 3 percent say they might change their minds before the election.

    Likely voters are split in their opinion of Abbott, as 50 percent have a favorable opinion of him and 47 percent have an unfavorable opinion of him.

    O'Rourke receives a negative favorability rating, as 44 percent have a favorable opinion of him and 50 percent have an unfavorable opinion of him.

    Likely voters were asked who would do a better job handling four issues...

    the economy: 56 percent say Abbott, while 41 percent say O'Rourke;
    the situation at the Mexican border: 54 percent say Abbott, while 43 percent say O'Rourke;
    gun policy: 53 percent say Abbott, while 44 percent say O'Rourke;
    abortion: 48 percent say O'Rourke, while 46 percent say Abbott.

    MOST URGENT ISSUE

    Asked to choose the most urgent issue facing Texas today, the Texas-Mexico border (38 percent) ranks first followed by abortion (17 percent) and inflation (11 percent).

    There are big differences by party identification.

    Among Republicans, the Texas-Mexico border (66 percent) ranks first followed by inflation (20 percent). No other issue reached double digits.

    Among Democrats, abortion (36 percent) ranks first followed by gun policy (16 percent) and election laws (12 percent).

    Among independents, the Texas-Mexico border (37 percent) ranks first followed by abortion (16 percent). No other issue reached double digits.

    The last thing we need is Beto O'Rourke as Governor of Texas.... Holy*ucking$hit what a nightmare for Texas & the USA that would be.

    First off, whatever money Don Jr has came from Daddy. Family? He is going through a divorce just like you did Poopsie.

    As for Don Jr,

    you would think at 43 he would realized he has accomplished nothing in his life except trying to match his father as the world's biggest scumbag and knowing that even at that he has failed.

    Poopsie did not go into details about Don Jr's family.

    Donald Trump didn't want his first born son named after him for fear that he'd be a "loser."

    Trump talked about baby Tiffany's future boobs and even said he would date Ivanka.

    Trump himself admitted that he never talked to his kids until they were in college and he could talk business with them.

    And of course, Don Jr is divorced, which is the biggest threat to families.

    Finally, if anyone in Don Jr's family actually gave a damn about him, they would intervene to get him to stop making those coked out of his head videos, which humiliate himself.

    Of the many things to criticize Trump about, his kids are not the best to choose. Even Hillary admired the way Trump's kids have turned out.

    She was asked to say something nice about Trump. So through gritted teeth she mentioned his grifting offspring.
