Smart move if you ask me. Pot should not be in the same category as heroin, lsd, ecstasy, meth, and bath salts. That must change asap. I want marijuana to get the same treatment as cigarettes w/ tobacco/nicotine/other carcinogens.

Unless you're also going to increase funding for rehab centers, all this does is put more druggies on every street corner with a negative influence on society. I'm not disagreeing with you on your prison stance, but just releasing these people with nothing else in place seems disastrous.
