no one coughs it up with the game on the line more than Lebron when we considere his missed FT's, turnovers and a weak pull-up (low efficiency in the clutch)

Correct. 4 straight is the entire crux of it.

A SG missed 4 straight FTs, directly leading to a finals loss to an inferior team, taking the wind out of their sails, and leading to a decisive loss..again to an inferior team. And changing the future outlook of the franchise. It was so so devastating. I feel bad for the dude honestly.

That’d be like the equivalent of a closer coming in and walking 4 straight batters in a World Series game that would/should have been won.

Do you realize that no one in history has more missed FT's with the game on the line then Lebron??.. And no one turned it over more with the game on the line than Lebron, while his clutch efficiency is horrible too

Regarding Nick Anderson - he's a relative nobody and being down 0-1 never took the wind out of anyone's sails

That would be absurdly weak mentally..

I heard Horace make that excuse once, which confirmed that he was infact a soft lamb that MJ carried.. MJ's mental force was the yin to the cast's yang (weak mentally).

So the Nick Anderson choke was nowhere near Lebron choking an entire series as the favorite with a historic super-team of Lebron-Kobe, I mean Wade

You do realize that even if that WERE true..it has nothing to do with the single choke that was initially brought up.

Lebron missing occasional clutch FTs over 2 decades is not the same as missing 4 in a row in a finals game where literally going 1-4 would have won it. A young inexperienced, but talented team losing in that manner in game 1 is absolutely devastating. Despite being a better and more talented team, they did not recover. Obviously.

He's referencing Nick Anderson stealing the ball from Jordan in 1995. Just shows you never watched basketball in the first place.

Pretty good huh.. you gotta give me some credit there

Regarding the Nick Anderson steal - how many times has Lebron turned the ball over to lose a playoff game? Anyone know?.. And what's his efficiency with the game on the line

LeBron did not only get outscored by Jason Terry. LeBron logged in 67, that’s right, 67 more minutes than Jason Terry, that is like giving LeBron more then a free entire game and he still came up short vs an old, zero-time all-star, undersized guard, Jason Terry on the biggest stage. (https://www.basketball-reference.com...s-vs-heat.html)

Just one of many reasons why it is the common consensus that it is the GOAT choke. The worst choke of all time. Which immediately invalidated any conversation of being the GOAT and still to this day makes it an argument if he’s top 10.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Finals were too much for LeBron, he already had previous experience in the Finals too so it wasn’t his first time around. LeBron was in his prime at 26 and it was his second appearance….the lights were still too bright and he choked hard again. Choked even harder then the first. It’s the GOAT choke.
