Jordan played against car mechanics, literally.
Mark Eaton went from fixing alternators to playing against the “best competition ever”. This man even made the all star game!
I’m sorry but this era of basketball is way better and it isn’t even debatable at this point.
R.I.P Eaton but c’mon man

Re: Jordan played against car mechanics, literally.
I mean without the NBA how many current guys who are stars would be working at a fast food place? I'd rather know I could be a plumber over a crack attick or fast food worker as many didn't go to college for long.

2 time mvp and fmvp in this era sold sourveniers from a cart. That's just how life is. Circumstance changes alot of things for these guys. You don't get scouted early enough and you end up a shrimp cart vendor in any era intil the find you, if they do.

Current reigning MVP was a sausage vendor in Belgrade. Also lebron lost to a German saxophone player. this era is currently set to rookie mode in terms of rules. MJ had to play in expert mode.

Your era produced a trinket street seller from Greece as one of the elites of his era, even winning the MVP twice
