Right. Like I said, pulling down boards wasn't really the issue. Though even that dropped to like 8 in the finals.

In 98, Rodman became a headache, wouldn't practice and his minutes were cut short.

He wasn't a bad player or anything. Just not what he was in Detroit. Or even his first year with Chicago.

Great. He still was benched at times in the playoffs. Latecareer Rodman played for rebounds the way Westbrook does. He gave up defensive assignments to position for rebounds. When he was forced to actually defend his rebound numbers significally dropped.

97 and especially 98 Rodman just wasn't as good as earlier iterations. In 96 he was absolutely vital for the Bulls, but comparing Rodman to Dray is absurd. Total different roles on titles teams.
