Clippers looking for a point guard, who fits best?
This is a serious question. The wall experiment didnt work out. Who would you choose as a gm for the benefit of the team for the long run?
Kyrie
Vanvleet
Lowry
Other?

Vanvleet is the best asset if you can just choose one but he would have the highest asking price and Ujiri isn't likely to be fleeced.

And it needs to happen.

Conley. Vanfleet is the only one on that list I'd rather have

As a Clipper fan, I'd LOVE for them to get Conley. Not gonna happen though.

Buying low on Conley seems like the best bang for your buck if your the Clippers. -He can def be obtained, Utah is looking to be sellers at the deadline.

Lonzo Ball if he could stay healthy. He plays good defense and could shoot. He doesn't hold the ball for too long and iso. Clippers have a problem with iso ball.
Since Lonzo is injury prone on an already injury-prone team, that seems like a bad idea. After him, I don't know. At least the options that could be realistic.

Lonzo Ball? WTF I forgot he existed. Is he ever going to play again?
And Derrick Rose? He hasn't played in 2 months. Oh that's right, Pero said they're saving him for the playoffs.

It would depend on the risk. Clippers have already screwed themselves with Leonard's deal so they may as well go all-in and do a trade based on future assets (if they have any left) and roleplayers. I am not sure that they can put up enough to meet the Nets asking price and I wouldn't want to give Irving an extension because he's proven he can't be trusted to treat the team as a priority. But they are a championship Longshot with the worst "if healthy" asterisk of anyone in the league and that will only get worse with time. So they need to make a move now.
But I would much rather have Vanvleet. Irving is as unprofessional as it gets.
