If you really believe there was anything satanic going on on stage you're pretty naive. Satan is an christian invention, because they coildn't fattom their all loving god being evil.
The post you quoted was pointing at chewy's hypocrisy when it comes to his selectiveness which satanic symbolism is ok and which is not.
What christian upbringing?
I havent been brought up religious at all.
I merely understand myself and the human condition. I can still feel.
Youre detached and brainwashed.
Anything goes for you at this point.
Artistic expression has become satanic worship and you arent as much blinking an eye..
"because they coildn't fattom their all loving god being evil." so you actually believe in god?
Make up your mind.

The satanic music from his youth = good
The satanic music for today's youth = bad

To clarify, you have absolutely no issue with the Grammys being such a performance?

But sure you feel offended by some idiots using what some PR fool believes to be satanic imagery.
That kind of lyricism and imagery is part of Heavy Metal culture. Like, I didn't get offended when I saw Ronnie James Dio throw up the horns on a constant basis:
Because Heavy Metal has always been about the Counterculture. And Dio was a Catholic. Later in life he put very little stock in religion, but he wasn't a Satanist. However, it is different when you see Satanic imagery in Pop Music, which is the mainstream. It reaches a wider variety of people. I don't even know who those people are in the OP, but I guarantee you that if you ask any average 12 year old who they are, they will know. And I guarantee you if you ask them who Dio or Iron Maiden are, they will not.
So there is a difference. Satanic imagery in the mainstream is not a good thing. That's what the OP is referring to. You just want to find reasons to point your finger at me and cry out "hypocrite!" like some baby.

No, because back in 1987, Rob Halford wore a devil mask for his performance in Donnington.

Doesn't matter if it were your parents. You being afraid of satanic imagery clearly shows your thought concepts being deeply rooted into christian conservativism which quite goes along your usual stances on topics.
Who brainwashes me? I don't follow any instititution.
Ehat does anything goes even mean? Are you just throwing buzzwords at me?
What about that quote indicates I believe in god? They believe in their god and they had to come up with a coping mechanism.

This is now already a classic thread for Overdrive saying "anything goes" is a buzzword
