My BIL’s dad went on a canoe fishing trip in Minn. he got off on one little island to take a leak.
He looked up and there was an axe embedded in the yoke of a tree. Pulled it out and it was branded Hudson Bay Trading Company on the handle. The handle has all rotted on top, but still intact in the bottom.
It’s mounted in his living room now.
