The old school guys weren't on steroids. They were scared of even lifting for Pete's sake. It's obvious the new guys are on designer steroids not to get jacked necessarily but more like Lance Armstrong blood oxygen doping. MJ was out drinking, smoking cigars and gambling... he actually handicapped himself in a way.

The old guys were constantly drinking, taking drugs, but you think steroids is where they drew the line?

Well that's kind of the point. Dudes back then were handicapping their physical potential where as Lebron treats his body in a pristine matter. I don't have a problem with guys taking PEDs. Why not make yourself stronger? People like to grandstand and say "oh but it's dangerous for their health!" ...like what? Dudes in a million times better physical shape than 99% of people. There's a difference between use and abuse. And it's not cheating if everybody is doing it. Which is why the whole MLB and cycling scandals were a joke.

Seriously. Once MJ started lifting he only gained an incremental 5 pounds of muscle each year from the summer of 89 until 93

Ah yes - the rest are on it but not MJ.
Kind of like how all the 100m sprinters in the top 30 times ever were all on steroids, but just not Usain Bolt. Yeah - the natural guy is beating all the juiced up guys...
Great logic. lol
You're not that naive.

Are you telling me an ambitious, pathologically driven individual would circumvent rules and societal norms to gain an advantage?
