Default What can the Lakers do to perfect the team?

The roster is loaded and very very good right now.

What possible moves do you see could be done to hone out the final edges and perfect them?

I feel for example Rui and Beasley are slighty redundant/similar. They play different positions but do much of the same. Rui is a cool piece at PF.

Beasley is pretty inefficient. Maybe get a 3&D guy there. Monk back would be great. Troy Brown Jr. coud be exchanged for more size or shooting. Mo Bamba for Whiteside or Turner (lol).

    That would make them OP.

    loaded ??
Sounds like they are on a dynasty run reading your posts.

If I owned the Lacky's , I would build around Russell , and move each and everyone of the rest of the roster and acquire draft picks , and
lock down a viable center not named AD.

With a few small moves, I can see this roster being approved by LeGM next season

    PG-Steph Curry
    SG- Bronny James
    SF-Durant
    PF-GOAT
    C-Embiid

They need another big on the roster. I'd take a shot at Cousins.

Whiteside brings less of a character. They dont need Cousins to muddle things up.

they both muddle and why Whiteside is in Puerto Rico and Cousins at home. I'd get rid of Lebron and Davis for whatever any team is stupid enough to give you for them and go from there.

Mavs not gonna do anything as currenty constructed. Waiting for Joker and Luka to team up and reign.

Until then, might as we infuriate the Bron haters.

Whiteside puts up numbers but he's a very low IQ player. He was solid in Utah last year and actually a net-positive player in the RS, but I personally like Cousins' character and his ability to space the floor more. He was supposed to be on that championship team but tore his ACL, I'd like to finally see him in a Laker uni.

Whiteside was awful last year. He should have been one of the best players in the league. He hasn't been. I wouldn't touch the guy! I'd probably take Cousins over him and I'd want nothing to do with him either

Whiteside is a shotbocker which the Lakers coud use more. Hes better defensively. They dont really need another shot creator.

shot blocker not rim protector. He's probably better defensively than Cousins but that's not saying much

Every great shotblocker is at least solid rim protector. Thats how you protect rims, with the threat of being able to block shots.

He quickly realized the Luka thing wasn't working out and LeBron falling off a cliff didn't come to fruition so he wasn't going to "win" arguments on here. He's going for the "told you they would win" jackpot now.

    Quite the dilemma.
