Getting bullied on a forum for over a decade is crazy work. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such an annoying piece of shit.

I was referring to Betts, and yes he is easily better on a per game basis if Ohtani isn't pitching. What on earth is the argument he isn't? He far outpaces Ohtani WAR wise on a game by game basis.

In my opinion... you are going about this incorrectly as a direct comparison.

Shohei has proven he is the premier hitter of this generation whether he is full time dh or pitching every 6th day.

The better argument is that Lindor outclasses every other ss with the glove and the bat. And I think he has played every game this season to boot.

Uh what? How on earth is he a better hitter than Judge (or even close)? Why can't people stop overrating this guy ffs.

Are you sure about that? So not only is that another atrocious argument, but it's patently false.

Outpaces him in bWAR not fWAR, I got the WARs mixed up. But weren't you the one touting bWAR?

I didn't tout one over the other, but it's hilarious you tried to make an argument that Betts is better because of per game fwar (which nobody uses) even though Ohtani's is higher than Betts.

    Good job!

The stuff you made fun of AA for earlier in this thread.

They literally made a movie about how people like you are retarded and got phased out of baseball, you know this right?

For example... Shohei has one of a kind power to all fields. Not only can he handle the pitches Mookie cannot he drives them out of the ballpark.

That's what happens when your only argument is a singular stat that the own creators admit isn't even fully accurate. (Because it's impossible to be fully accurate)

So now is Ohtani the best on his team and everything you've said invalidated? And it's clear you're just talking out of your ass because you for some reason hate Ohtani?

I'll concede that, I misremembered Mookie's WAR as better than it was for some reason. Still wild you said Ohtani is the best hitter of his generation though you gonna walk that back?

On a per game basis, Betts and Ohtani are similar (within the margin of error), and I would generally say the guy who isn't watching Family Guy in the dugout when he's not batting is more valuable, WAR honestly needs to adjust better for DH. You can claim Ohtani is better than Betts, but it's certainly not definitive until he's pitching.

But why? Here's what you just said

So you go from fWAR being the be all end all and Mookie is easily better because you thought his fWAR per game was higher, to now making an argument based off your own arbitrary and meaningless interpretation of value.

So if Ohtani/Betts are on the same level because of fWAR per game which favors the guy with the smaller sample (Its more impressive for Ohtani to do it over the entire season) - then why are you so adamant that Lindor should easily be favored over Ohtani even though the gap between them is even smaller?

You've been exposed and don't know shit. I pegged you perfectly like 2 pages ago.
