Tony Soprano is back

Get him a body bag!
Re: Tony Soprano is back
This is the kind of content the Superhero Universe should be producing. Gritty and dark. Not that childish and comedic garbage that James Gunn and Co. come out with.
This already looks like it will be a great show.

Sadly that goofy shit has mass appeal because it targets children and moronic adults whom are plentiful.

oh god, just stop already. the batman movie this is based on was also garbage.
also nobody gives a fukk about penguin unless he is opposite batman. he's a villain of the week, he doesn't work as a central protagonist. he doesn't have the layers.
this is going to be just like that gotham show that nobody watched.

Clancy Brown is in this, so it is automatically good.

A little harsh on the Penguin don't ya think? I know I'm in the minority, and not a huge fan of "superhero" movies, but Batman Returns was probably my fav of the Batman movies. Even so, I think Tim Burton could have done a lot more with the Penguin considering his talent on portraying likeable deviants. Wish that movie had a lead other than Michael Keaton too.

i'm not saying he's a bad character and can't be interesting, i'm saying he was never intended to be the central focus of his own movie or series. this just feels like a huge reach.
he's a villain. without batman he's a nothing character. this is just gonna be a generic gangster show.
