Oftentimes we adjust our macro sense of a player's ability based on a single playoff outcome. Just look at people's comments after the Warriors won it all last year.

My suggestion: wait a good 3 months after the playoffs end before drawing any conclusion so you're not affected by Recency Bias.

Lebron has been coasting for the most part and AD hasn't needed to score as much as usual and they're marching through the Western Conference like it's nothing.
