Exclamation Phoenix Suns have notified star Chris Paul that he will be waived.

Pretty much a former player who can give you some quality minutes half of regular season games.

No serious contender can be interested, although for the minimum, he may be the point guard that the Lakers are looking for according to rumors.

However, I would not be surprised if Paul tries to go to any team that signs him a contract that would be toxic from his signing.

Going to the Lakers for sure.

Mavs might consider it as a mentor to Luka.

Adam Silver should not allow that.

Stern in the interest of fairness didn’t think Kobe needed help like that

38 years old and his shooting % dropped significantly this year. Is he willing to take a 2nd unit assignment?

    I wish he did.

There's no reason guards should insist on going out as starters.

I get that an 82 game season is tough and perhaps you don't want that as a star with enough money, but it would be cool to see some guards fading into the role like how Vince did it.

Why would the Lakers get a guy that is injured every single playoffs and can't contribute in anything? Makes absolutely no sense for the Lakers to go get him...

If he signs at a salary that doesnt require them to sacrifice anything, theres no harm in stashing him and if he happens to be available for some useful spot minutes in the playoffs so be it, if not they havent lost anything.

That said, he absolutely is washed, and this would NOT count as “help” for Lebron.

He wouldn’t have to play heavy minutes for them.

Dude is washed and has always been injury prone for his whole career.

He won't turn anybody into a contender.

Would love him at the Warriors for the min. Just to get the ball out of Brainless Poole & Turnover Dray for as much as possible.

Would be solid off the bench for the Warriors. Warriors lack a playmaker who can create easy buckets. Steph can do it sometimes but Paul made a career out of creating easy points. Should be Warriors target
