I read that the 19yr old kid brought a rubik’s cube with him so he could break the Guinness world record. The article said he could do the puzzle in 12 seconds so surely he got it done before the disaster. Guinness should give him the benefit of the doubt and let him have the record. Well, the purpose is to thrill seek, but if you are going to do that, you have to know what the hell you're doing in the first place, and there was a reason why all the other companies that dive to this depth or deeper use steel when constructing their deep sea vessels. This guy thought he was a visionary, and he may have very well been, but he lacked the research and sadly paid the price.
