The argument here is about Trans and that's it. Not any of the other letters of the alphabet brigade. We are seeing how this Trans movement is affecting children and women who are having their rights stripped away from them. Gay people and homosexuality in general.... nobody cares about that anymore. But when doctors are prescribing hormone blockers or performing surgeries on children that will scar them for life, that's when it's time to step in and ask ourselves what the hell are we doing. There's no "silliness" about transforming a child into something they are not. This laissez-faire attitude of just letting things be has never been a healthy idea in any modern society.

People screw up their kids every day. With religion, absurd restrictions, spoiling them, poor values, abandonment, etc. It's just the way it is and always has been.

We are in agreement that the government and medical professionals should not be involved in a child's transition without the parent's consent. Your child is YOURS. They are not OURS. No one else is responsible for feeding, caring for and putting a roof over their heads.

While I agree that in general, there are parents and people that definitely do screw up children, I will say this about why this is something that the Right is passionate about right now in 2023. And it's really just a few reasons.

1. This is new. While one (such as yourself) can make the argument that religion can harm children, and you may or may not be right, the fact is that religion has been around for a long time. So we are accustomed to it just as much as we are accustomed to eating, breathing, or sleeping. And in a way, knowing how there are so many things that can affect children, people who are against the Transgenderism movement may just be making the case that we shouldn't, as a society, allow something else to harm our children. This is why there is uproar against TikTok too. And before someone that lacks reading comprehension skills comes in here and says "There's been transgenders since civilization started", that is not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to how Transgenderism is now being socially accepted and performed on children. This is very new.

2. The scale of the physical and mental damage of gender dysphoria and not receiving the proper treatment outweighs any of the damage any of the other things you mentioned can do to a child. And the money that's behind it. There's no money and profit behind being an absentee parent or indoctrinating your child to become a supremely devout member of some organized religion/cult. To see pictures of the skin grafts that people have allowed doctors to perform on them just so that they create male genitalia is gruesome and sadistic. And to think, that's what we're prepping our children for by allowing this delusion to permeate in their heads for years rather than take them to the proper medical professional.

Trust me, I see what you're saying about how there are so many things that damage people on a daily basis, but in my honest opinion, that does not mean that we should have an attitude of thinking what's the big deal if it's one more thing out of many.

If you truly believe society is turning your kids gay (who knows it could be) why don’t you just not mess with society no more? You can turn the TV off, delete social media, home or private school your kid, go to church, eat healthy and limit any exposure to things you see unfit for your child. This is the way to combat any cultural shift you see coming for your kids.

How is what I am saying not fighting it? You fight things with your actions and the example you set. If society is not going the way you like that means you have to be the change you want to see. The most basic change one could make is not putting your kids through the public school system and not supporting woke corporations. That is some easy and affective shit anyone who is legitimately concerned could implement. And if people put their money where their mouth is all it would take is one generation to reverse the current trajectory.
