I remember when autotune was just for artists that had great lyrics and flow but had no natural or developed singing ability. Now it's everywhere with shitty artists that haven't put work in on their voice but also bring no other redeeming factors to the table. I guess I'm getting old but you can't tell me these guys have talent when they don't even put much effort into their craft.

the kardashians proved you don't need talent, just a good agent. the masses will consume any content whether good or bad so as long as they get their dopamine fix and the 'entertainer' has some form of likability.

that tape snowballed everything. the kardashian name got more popular and eventualy they got a show. then they got even more popular and it opened so many doors for them. modeling, beauty product businesses, social media monetization, top tier celebrity status, etc.
