that said I dont really see english as being divisive, if anything its one of the most diverse and malleable languages on the planet. the vocabulary is derived from a combination of latin, french, and germanic... and grammatically it is flexible and loose with very few concrete rules compared to most other languages. no other language has a thesaurus as rich with synonyms and slang terms as english does.
