It was DEFINITELY more Paul. The personnel turnaround between 11 and 12 wasn't really significant other than him and the difference was enormous. And then even more so in 13.
Not only that though, Paul was the perfect type of teammate for a player like Griffin.
90sgoat claiming things could have gone better for him if he played on an established dynasty isn't really a hot take

Yes Paul was the better player, but it was simply embarassing how he threw away that playoff run where they should have been champions. Forgot which year, but the one where they were up against Spurs or Warriors and Paul just choked.

The hot take is that Griffin, perhaps due to animosity from his peers, never really got the credit as being a smart, team oriented player, so winning teams didn't seek him out as much.
I'm saying he could have won several rings in the right situation.

I thought Chris Paul made him less of a player in LA. Yeah he threw lobs and stuff... but their play styles and personalities didn't mesh. This wasn't Stockton and Malone. It was never better than the sum of its parts.
Actually it was Rivers to blame.... He want Paul to be his coach on the floor .. so it was Rivers.

that was OKC and Rockets in 2014/2015 lol.
They never "should have been champs".
