Even as a die hard Bears fan, I always respected Rodgers, I've even gotten into debates here and on another NFL message board where I said that peak/prime Rodgers is arguably the GOAT QB. Damn shame what happened to him last night. Really gotta feel bad for Jets fans, thay had a real shot with him this year.

As a huge city , with deep pockets , why do they always have a shit team ???

NY for all of their shlt hole crap still generated more bowls than Chicago. Rams as well.

    What gives with Chicago ???
One SB win and an appearance in 2006 but overall yep, just a terribly run franchise. Sunday's Bears Packers game proved that it wasn't only the fact that they had Favre and Rodgers back to back, they just know the game of football more than the morons running the Bears.

Their inability to ever have a quarterback is honestly amazing. The only decent one they've had in the last 50-60 years was Jay Cutler, who was nothing to write home about. Only the Jets could compare with such an utter lack of talent at the quarterback position during the Super Bowl era.

It truly is. Cutler was a great talent but never a top 10 QB or anything. Have they ever had one?

People clamoring over Garrett Wilson's TD catch. Like, it was okay. He tipped it to himself and caught it. Really no different than seeing a guy catch a pass that's tipped off someone else.

People really be calling that catch legendary. If he snagged it with his right hand on the first touch, then hell yea it would be legendary.

I don’t know about legendary but it was certainly an awesome catch because it seemed like he was in control of the whole situation and almost planned it that way. The wherewithal to do that is very impressive.

You would think the Bears would eventually luck into a decent QB at the very least, let's not even dream about an elite QB They've had legendary defenses and legit running backs during this SB drought that a halfway decent QB could have snagged us a ring or two SMH. And what I mean by a decent QB is one that is like top 15, all of our QBs seem to be bottom of the barrel scrub material.

Looking at their QB history, I don't see one who frankly would even be close, discounting Sid Luckman who was there during WWII.

They've never had a QB throw for 30 TD's or 4000 yards in a season, which in this era of offensively friendly football is amazing. I would bet good money they're the only franchise who could claim that.

What made that catch amazing was the situation they were in. Plus, it was a bad pass to begin with. It was to the side of the defender. It was a clutch play, but it's also a play that not every receiver can make. Wilson is something special.

First game of the year, and some are already calling it a strong early candidate for catch of the year.

Very reminiscent of Patrick Chewing's ISH slay of the year, 2 weeks into the start of this year.

10 4 .... I have say they never had a plan until their defense dropped from the heavens , when walter was around.

never forget when bears played walter at qb.
