Re: will this forum ever get past discussing LeBron?
Kobe was this guy in the early 2000s on here and it became Lebron. Without a new guy we might get some relative peace but I doubt it. If there being nothing new to say about it stopped anyone they would have stopped years ago. They aren’t arguing last year. They’re talking about shit from 10-15 years ago and that doesn’t go away.

that's what i mean though...Kobe stills gets discussed but it's lesser and lesser now. we still have headlines everyday about Bron. he's more polarizing than Bean.
suns could win a title and the next morning 3ball would post a bron thread like he's on schedule.

Re: will this forum ever get past discussing LeBron?
There are often very interesting random threads here that gets max 2 replies. There is only one 3ball but half of this forum loves to post on his threads whether agreeing with him or mocking him. People watch Skip Bayless. Low iq people are entertained by low iq topics. Nothing new.

I don't think forums are really a means of discussion for the newer generation... I could be wrong

Well, you have Bronie fluffers on here that haven't gotten past Jordan yet, 20 years after he's retired.

A lot of people think Axe is your alt. Of course, I know the truth, but a lot of people think that.

No. LeBron is the GOAT. He will always be used in the future in arguments and discussions.

This. Just like athletes have primes, so do fandoms. Most of the forum members here are in their 30s, 40s and even 50s. Their 'prime' as fans were during the 90s, 00s and 10s. Younger internet users are on reddit, tik tok and twitter. They are not searching for old style internet messageboards. So without a new crop of young posters, this forum will continue to age and be stuck on topics about 90s, 00s and 10s NBA. btw I'm not saying at all we don't find the current league exciting or that I'm not looking forward for the season to start in a month, but just like music or sex or anything recreational, it hits you different when you're younger and the world is still new to you.
