the sixers were up 3-2 last year and then embiid was a complete nonfactor and dropped 13 pointsat home in game 6 - I dont think these writers will forget how stupid they felt after watching jokic win the finals MVP AFTER being the best regular season player as well

MVP: Luka. I just feel like the voters will want new blood after Jokic/Giannis/Embiid have dominated the ballots over the last few years. If he takes the Mavs from missing the playin to like the 4th seed, I think he'll win it.

DPOY: Evan Mobley. Another season of him helping to anchor the top defense in the league will be enough I think for him to get the nod from the voters. Jrue & Bam would be my alternate choices.

Scoring champ: SGA. Embiid could still snatch another one, but the rest of his contemporaries in contention for this will have a new teammate taking away their scoring opportunities.

FMVP: Jokic. I admit this one is a total guess, but he's at his peak, they now have the championship pedigree and experience, and they are arguably the most formidable team in the league, so while this is the pick I'd have the least confidence in, I'd go with Jokic taking it home again.
