Neither MJ or Lebron focused on rebounding as a primary thing but you'd expect a guy way taller and heavier to get more offensive rebounds. The truth is he padded his rebounding totals Westbrook style to a pretty big degree.

If it were true that he was padding rebounds then he wouldn’t have such an uptick in the playoffs.

Ball-dominators like Westbrook or Lebron can pad rebounding numbers super-easy and steal rebounds from their bigs like Love or Bosh - both of these guys saw rebounding and assist declines alongside Lebron's ball-dominance
