Question Would Zach Edey be a star in the '70s, '80s, '90s, and '00s?

The man has been dominating college basketball. Currently, he's putting up 25/11 with 2.6 blocks on 63% FG, 76% FT, and 68% TS. Has a unique combination of size and skill; a true low-post center with a dominant back-to-the-basket arsenal. He's a ridiculous physical specimen with very impressive measurements:

    - 7'3.25" barefoot
    - 9'7.50" standing reach
    - 306.4 lbs
    - 7'10.5" wingspan
    - 26" standing vertical jump
    - 29.5" running vertical jump

Those numbers put him somewhere close to Boban and Yao. His mobility, durability, and endurance seem to be more like a younger Yao than Marjanovic. Zach doesn't have Yao's range but he does have a stronger upper body, is more physical, and overall better finisher inside. Draws A LOT of fouls.

How do you think the big man would go in the '70s, '80s, '90s, and '00s? The Illegal Defense Rule would benefit him massively. It's hard to think of a player comparison because there haven't been that many guys that big, let alone with the mobility, durability, endurance, and skill.

A more physical Yao Ming that's better inside the paint but worse outside of it. That seems right to me.

Here are a couple of his recent games:
