It's honest in a way. They are against any kind of gun control and don't have any plan to prevent future mass shootings. So, "get over it. " Because if they have their way it's never going to stop.

what's your idea of gun reform? because just for argument's sake, if the problem IS indeed guns, there's still going to be 'mass shootings' unless you take extreme measures and simply outright ban all guns across the country. that's out of the question. and even then, nutjobs will find a way to kill people en masse regardless. we've already seen it - trucks plowing into crows, bombs, people will just get more creative. necessity is the mother of invention. Completely eliminating violence is unrealistic but reducing these kinds of incidents is absolutely possible. The AR15 and any weapon like it should be banned, people with mental health issues and/or violent criminal records should not be allowed to own guns, all gun sales should have mandatory background t ound checks. And those are just the reforms that immediately come to my mind, there is surely much more that could and should be done. There will always be people that get weapons illegally but that is absolutely not a good reason to do nothing. As for why legislation is not getting passed, we all see who is voting"no" and we all know who is giving them money.
