These two are my all-time heroes. Jonathan Capehart has my fullest respect, admiration, and gratitude. Every week he brings fresh and unflinching commentary, insightful analysis and observations that are pure gold. His thinking is precise and profound, grounded in lived experience. Michael Fanone has my unending love, my deepest respect, admiration, and gratitude every single day. He is a sterling example of the sort of citizen this country so desperately, so urgently needs. His courage, not merely on January 6th, but during subsequent years, is an example to all of us. He is a truth-teller extraordinaire, unique and uncompromisable. His is a spirit that cannot be bought and a soul that shines through all the chaos and rubbish. At a very minimum, we owe him our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks.

It's for the cameras. Aka fake tears.
Sensationalism (sp) like this is why I don't watch tv news. I prefer written news always. Easy to skip past sensationalism and focus only on the news part

print news is definitely better than cable but independent outlets are the way to go. it's just a matter of finding the right ones... and not particularly the ones that match your ideologies or operate on a gimmick but rather the ones that are going to give it to you straight and help you to form your own opinion on what the truth really is.

Understandable.
The most devastating day in American history.

I rarely drink but due to stuff like this, I'll have a glass whiskey every Jan 6th as a show of solidarity to the Jan 6th political prisoners.

So instead of thinking, these guys are asshole, have no shame, are pathological liars, bias and lying to push an agenda, you're just going to dismiss the shameless fake crying as sensationalism, read what they tell you in articles and accept it as very trustworthy news. (It doesn't help that you have repeatedly shown in the past that you don't even read articles, but rather just the headlines.)
