Lebron w/ Westbrook = Lottery. Kawhi w/ Westbrook = Top Seed.
Yep, that's right. The Clippers are now sitting atop the West.
Kawhi is playing crazy good ball. After watching a few Clippers games, I'm extremely impressed by his court IQ. He doesn't do a bunch of flashy, crazy shots. He's not like Luka in that he'll make super difficult baskets. But he has a keen ability to create good looks, and he does it over and over again, which is why his efficiency this year is ridiculous.
So can all you damage-controlling Bronies stop blaminb Westbrook for the super team Lakers ending up in the lottery? The Clips are doing just fine with him.

Why is it that both seasons with the Clippers Westbrook is helping his team over .500, but next to the Bran-fam he's the scapegoat for the losing record?

Interesting.
So, which one played in the conference finals last year?
Must have been Westbrook, right?

Refresh my memory. Which conference finals was that? Is it the one where one of the teams got swept like a dirty chimney, or am I thinking of the wrong conference finals?

Probably because Kawhi never got the number for Bron’s pharmicist.

They were out of the play in when they had Westbrook and missed the play in the year before.

Yeah. Because he sucks.
He weighed Lebron down, and as soon as he joined the Clippers, it was the Lakers who went to the conference finals and the Clippers who got bounced in round 1.
You guys are making our exact point. What kinda numbskulls are you guys???

If you look at the Lakers, struggling to stay above .500 despite Lebron having 3 other all star caliber players on his team, and the Clippers, who sit atop the West, it's pretty clear that Lebron was the one weighing Westbrook down.

For a self-proclaimed basketball historian, you don't know much, do you? Perhaps you simply forgot that the Lakers were in the lottery bracket until Lebron sat out for six weeks, during which time the Lakers went on a hot streak and jumped 3 places in the standings.

Kawhi didn't play with Westbrook in the playoffs last year. He got hurt. Brick did put up a fight though with 24/8/7 averages.
