So AD drops 32/9/3 on good shooting with 4 blocks and 3 steals out playing Jokic and LA loses. Get this man some help...

Lakers had the opportunity to win, but we see the same thing happen when they squander close games: the offense completely goes away from AD. He had zero FG attempts in the last five minutes. Instead we got lebron choking fadeaways and 3 pointers.

That's because it's his decision to do so. This is the same situation we had with Kobe when he ran himself to the ground in 2013. The team is barely hanging on so he's forced to play all those minutes in close games because they're trying to make the Playoffs and the team is not good enough for him to rest.
Hopefully they can pick up Dinwiddie off waivers. If he could give us what he did for the Mavs in 2022, it could save this season. It does worry me that he hasn't shot the 3 well since leaving the Mavs, though it's probably tied to his poor shot selection in Brooklyn. In LA all he has to do is knock down open 3s and give Bran some extra minutes to rest.

Just like what happened in the WCF. Nightmare fuel. You got a top 5-10 player at his prime/peak and you don't get him involved when it matters most when he's unstoppable. Crazy.

Jokic was not outplayed. There was no outstanding player yesterday. It was two teams. Davis was the best on the Lakers but LeBron played okay until the 4th and others contributed a lot especially on defense which was good for the most part. Jokic wasn't the clear cut best player on the floor but he had 24/13/9 with 3 blocks himself. It was an average game for him but his defense is getting better and better.

I'm so sick of this narrative. He's averaging 25ppg while playing 35 minutes a game and having one of his best shooting seasons. When he has a bad game, it's "why is lebron playing so many minutes hes so old!!" but when he has a good game no one complains about his usage. Is he washed or not? I don't give a **** how old this dude is, he's being paid $47 million this season to lead this team to a ring. No excuses. He was a choker at age 29 and he's a choker now. Lets not clutch our pearls at his age

32 pts is nothing today. its weak sauce for his ceiling.
he needs to drop 70 to raise some eyebrows.

Anthony Davis was the leading scorer in the game out of everybody in the matchup. On 54%FG and by far the best defensive player on the court. He needs his teammates to step up for once if LA wants to win. Murray and MPJ outplayed Lebron and Reaves signifigantly.

He also gets gassed pretty easy so he would not have the energy for crazy scoring games against AD.
I would only have the pf go in for help defense like rui or something. The guards need to stay on their man. Do like 2-player zone near the paint and 3-players man-on-man on the perimeter

He's 7th in the league in 4th Q scoring with 8/2/2 on 52% shooting, "Coach".
Over helping on defense has been the problem with the Lakers. They randomly double a player and leave another wide open. Reaves and D'Lo are the biggest examples of this. Prince has been trash as well. Lakers would be better with Vando getting 0 over Prince playing.
