Minnesota vs. Ciippers - Feb 12
Anyone watching?
Clips are playing small ball at times against Gobert. Put Westbrook on him, and then other smaller players. Timberwolves lack team IQ to get him the ball with the mismatch. Solid game overall.

Gobert clears out Kawhi. Dunks on him. Great physical game. (Earlier Kawhi cleared out McDaniel for the layup). Kawhi usually not easy to move.

Knicks all da way

This is a fun game. A lot of back and forth. Rudy puttin on a clinic on defense, along with mcdaniels. Minny's best lineup is with KAT on the bench, crazy as that sounds

For a while it seemed like the Clippers multi-faceted offense were good enough to score despite the Timberwolves top defense. Then in the 2nd half it's been all Minneosta. Everytime the Clippers try something, the Wolves have packed the paint with big guys, and there's nowhere to go. If the Cliips can score 3's and spread out the Wolves D, they might have a chance.

Westbrick misses 3; Clips need to have those shots shot by people who can make them.

No surprise the Wolves D is top-notch but in particular they are strong in fundamentals. It reminds me of how the Warriors used to be- if your man creates separation, you sprint and close it. They never give up on D. Hands in passing lanes. Anticipate the ball-handler and where their man is going. Everyone is dialed in and moving. So often defense is marked by being a spectator. Timberwolves do almost none of that.

Great win for Minnesota. They're holding on to that number one seed right now. Get to the All-Star break and recharge for the final stretch of the regular season.

Only way you're going to beat the Wolves is with mismatches. No one can play as big as them. You're in trouble if you go small and it doesn't work which it hasn't most of the year
