But, yes, I would consider Wemby the GOAT after 6 seasons played if he had the career you're mentioning. ROY, 5 peat with 5 consecutive MVPs, FMVP, All-NBA, and likely at least 1 crown jewel: MVP, DPOY, NBA title + FMVP.
This is a contrived example because he wouldn't leave potentially a billion dollars worth of NBA contract earnings on the table for boredom.

Because at some point longevity matters….this is why lebron is the greatest….at some point it has to matter to dominate for this long when everyone else fell off in their later years.
