Luka just had a goat-scoring season... Now what if he was also DPOY?
and played off-ball as a goat assist target, so he allowed a warriors, spurs, nuggets or 90's bulls-type of ball movement system and chemistry (where teammates played great), aka dynasty-ball
wow.. that would be something

Otoh, the numbers show that Jordan only shot poorly at "bailout volume" (forced shots at end of shot clock, aka extremely low volume) and always shot at today's standard when he had today's volume (3+ attempts)... And we don't have to use 3+ attempts for today's volume - we could use as little as 1.5 because Jordan either had seasons of less than 1.5 attempts (bailout volume) or 3+ attempts.
Specifically, Jordan had 2 seasons of 3+ attempts from the regular line in 90' and 93' where he shot 38% and 35%.. Overall, from 85' to 93', Jordan shot 36.4% in regular season games where he had 3+ attempts, and 39% in playoff series with 3+ attempts.. (regular line only)... We can only use the 85-93' period because the shortened line kicks in after that and he had no games with 3+ attempts when it moved back in 98'.
So again, Jordan never shot below today's standard when he had today's volume, while Lebron frequently does - he has many series or seasons of garbage shooting at 3+ attempts.. It's remarkable that Jordan shot 36-39% at today's volumes with no practice, so he would shoot over 40% WITH practice in today's game.. Btw, Bird was even better than Jordan did at today's volumes - he shot 43% in games with 5+ attempts during his career.. These guys were pure shooters and didn't shoot poorly when they had volume, while Lebron frequently does.

Bro, no one taking Jordan's era seriously anymore.
First he loses to a midget banker 1-1 now footage appears where people literally watch him dribble on the perimeter and no one within 10 feet of him and daring him to shoot.
It's never been so over for Jordan as it is now.

You make a great point. MJ was incredible. We were all in awe of his greatness. But there's one thing I always wondered about him. And this mystery persists to this day. And that is, how come he was so fukkin terrible at basketball?

Weak era, players like Boban Marjanovic who can't get off the bench today were superstars back then.

Re: Luka just had a goat-scoring season... Now what if he was also DPOY?
lol completely impossible.
Even if he got in great shape and put in max effort.
He just doesn’t have the raw athleticism or freak wingspan to ever be a truly great defender.
He can win MVP’s and chips.
But there is a negative 10,000% chance he can get any sort of all defensive spot etc lol
Def played some good defense last game which was refreshing.

.
better scorers than lebron:
Elgin Baylor
Jerry West
Wilt
Kareem
KD
MJ
Kobe
Curry
Jokic
Embiid
Luka
Shaq
Bird
Harden
Barry
the "goat" is borderline top 20 scorer AT BEST??... lmao.. i think not

Pull up the receipts then.
Show me footage where people sagged 10+ feet off LeBron whine he was at the 3 point line daring him to shoot while he dribbled in place for 10+ seconds
There's a massive difference between ball movement that leads to a wide open shot and how the defense treated Jordan in that pic.
