Exclamation JJ Redick is the 5th highest paid coach

He makes more than Joe Mazzula who just won a chip. While having 0 experience drafting scouting coaching. He also has 0 staff and no plan. What do lakers expect from him? Honestly

Lakers have been dysfunctional since Dr Buss died. His kids are incompetent. Lucky for them LeBron decided he wanted to live in LA otherwise they would still be irrelevant.

You're joking but the microscope of the Lakers job AND the microscope of a LeBron team is the most heavily scrutinized coach in the world automatically from day 0. Look, he already is.

That's before he has to even attempt to try to do the job, including coaching LeBron. lol.

And some other star will bail them out when LeBron retires

It's sickening how they can get away with a Pistons level front office.

I agree there has always been extra baggage, expectations, and pressures for a Lakers coach.

Plus no matter what you do you will always be in the shadow of Pat Riley and Phil Jackson. Even though if your name is getting kicked around anywhere near one of those guys you would have to be doing pretty well for yourself.

Wemby will be a Laker in 2028. Lebron will still somehow be averaging 22/6/7.

    3 made 3 a game 9 points.

    4 made FT a game, 13 points

    4 layups/dunks, mainly in transition, 21 points

He could do that in his 50’s

He needs to set up a direct deposit that wires most of that money directly to Lebron.

Not because he specifically owes Lebron anything, I just personally think every player and coach in the league should do that.

    Bron's earned that respect.

LeBron James' master plan: destroy the Lakers to take over the franchise at a bargain price.

Jesse Buss is the best scout in the NBA. Obviously the lottery picks are out of his hands as a scout but look at his resume starting in his early 20s. Almost all his late first round, 2nd round and many of his undrafted players have had long careers as valuable contributors.

Redick is still going to be a better bargain than Monty Williams.
