A 3pt projection guy going off in 1 game doesn't prove much of anything. Is likely better than mahomes, pacheco, rice and derŕick Henry as well? It's one game. Not saying he can't be very good this season but we have to wait and see.

Kelce does look a little washed. He's played a ton of football past 5 years and he's 34 years old. Thankful the computer took Laporta over him for me.

Puka and Kyren going off last year won people leagues if they picked them up.

The Ravens have no WR weapons other than Flowers and the Ravens ran a ton of 2 TE sets. So even if Andrew's rebounds, Likely is still gonna get a ton of targets.

Week 1 projections mean nothing for guys like this. He's well worth an add and a good chunk of faab.

Things we learned from last night

Lamar is still not that guy

Ravens dont need Andrews they have a stud tightend for way cheaper and way younger.

Kelce fell back to the pack (and is not the clear cut best in a tier by himself) it wasn't just a fluke 1 year fall off last season. He's old. He is no longer head and shoulders the best tight end. Kittle and LaPorta are neck & neck with him fighting for best tightend in the league

NFL gms are idiots. 31 other teams let the chiefs get worthy.....let that sink in

    Ravens defense looks decent

    Henry lost his burst

Kelce isnt washed - the Chiefs are just load managing hin until the playoffs. They're gonna ride the young guys so Kelce is fresh in the playoffs. He has another gear. Terrible fantasy asset if you took him early, but still a monster in real life. 11 receptions in the AFCG, and 9 in the super bowl last year against two of the best defenses ever.

I'm just saying this year there are plenty of serviceable TE's in the later rounds... some even going undrafted (Likely in many leagues went undrafted).

Why spend a high draft pick on one?

Reed looked great tonight. He is a big play machine. Philly secondary was pretty bad though.

With my WR core being so thin it will be clutch if he can keep it going.

I would throw like $25 on him if I had no TE. So I agree. That doesn't mean taking a top TE in the 4th or 5th round is bad. Tight end is a ****ing waste land almost every year and has always been a coveted position for me.

I'm platinum ranked in Yahoo (and can screenshot it), and the only years I won were twice when I had prime Kelce, and once when I had Darren Waller in his only great season on the raiders in 2020 when he went off. Having a great TE gives you a massive advantage when opponents are getting goose egged with theirs. So it's possible the computer could've saved me this year.

It's not a wasteland THIS year. That's the entire point. There is no peak Travis Kelce outlier player who gives you a significant advantage if you have him. LePorta and McBride are very solid but they're not gonna dominate remotely like Kelce did.

The point is that WRs and RBs are far more valuable in the early rounds than TE when the TE class is deep and there isn't anybody that will far and away dominate the field like Kelce did.

You could've punted the entire position and get essentially the WR2 for the Ravens in Likeley with no draft investment, who will probably get similar targets to the guys going in the early rounds.

Yes but that's easy to say after the defense left Likely relatively open as the 5th option behind Lamar himself running, Derrick Henry, Flowers, and Andrews.

No pun intended... but defenses will "likely" pay more attention to him going forward. Which will open the door back up for Andrew's and Flowers and others.

I'd like to see the Yahoo start % stats on Likely in week 1. Its probably Likely less than 5%. So nobody that got him late was starting him any way because he was literally considered a back up TE in a system that is run based to begin with.

The main point isn't solely about likely though. It's about the idea that drafting TE super early this year doesn't make sense.

If I thought LePorta and McBride would far and away dominate the rest of the field? Yeah I would've taken one in an early round no question. But I don't think that's gonna be the case. It's just a much more even and deep field this year than years prior.

Kelce has a stupid adp of 28.. and then you have LaPorta, Andrew's, and McBride going early as well.

But then there's Kittle, Kincaid, Pitts, Engram, Njoku, Ferguson, Bowers you can get middle to late rounds.

None of these guys stick out from the pack. Not even the top guys. It's just a silly strategy to be drafting Kelce or LaPorta in thr 3rd ****ing round.

This may be a bold move cotton, but I think I'm starting Yoshi over Chase.

    Aubrey 12 points at kicker
    Dallas defense 17 points.

St.Brown was so worthless last night...

hope that Kittle does not do well tonight.

I had my week 1 victory at 80% up until St.Brown put up a dud... now I'm at 40%
