TDS and woke mind virus are the most prominent and fastest growing illnesses in the US, having overtaken 10's of millions of lives and counting. There are several on this very forum who suffer from at least one of these diseases, and many suffer from both.

I know it's all fun and games to troll about this stuff, but this is actually some serious shit. We've got half the country who are genuinely mentally ill and think they're on the right side of history. We have to vote for Trump, and then JD Vance in 2028 in order to at least limit the outbreak and hopefully instill some saneness back into our society. Our democracy is being threatened by the mentally ill which have infiltrated our government and military.

I think it's infected BOTH sides.

Last Friday, someone with a huge Trump sign on his truck parked near to my boss. He was triggered the whole day and kinda took it out on the employees. On the other side, I've heard conspiracy theories that sound absolutely looney. People need to stop reading all this politics and realize there stuff much more important like (figuratively) losing your child - how sad. Of course, I'm here posting on a political board but hey, no basketball and no tennis going on :-)

Sounds like it’s more of a corrupt healthcare system trying to subscribe extra, unnecessary care to a billionaire’s child.

But doing a quick dive it seems into it:

— She filed a petition to change both her name and legal gender, and was quoted as saying she “no longer wishes to be related” to her father “in any way”.

— A Santa Monica judge issued a new birth certificate that reflected her changed name, and gender, while their ruling simply stated: “Xavier Alexander Musk to Vivian Jenna Wilson. The gender of the petitioner is changed from male to female.”

— Vivian filed the petition just three days after her 18th birthday, though the court documents weren’t made public until the day after Father’s Day.

— Vivian and her father reportedly have a strained relationship, with Musk disagreeing with her political views, claiming she believes that all rich people are evil.

Seems like Musk just doesn’t like that she’s different from his ideals of a son and he disagrees with her politics. From the little information here, it seems a bit extreme to completely want nothing to do with your father anymore, but we also don’t have her side of the story. Btw, it’s very easy to be progressive and woke minded when your dad is Elon and you have essentially infinite wealth to fall back on. I’d like to get some insight on how she lives, is it “oh, I ‘only’ live in this $4000/mo one bedroom in North Hollywood’” or is she out there grinding and making her own living? And While I don’t think progressivism and ‘woke culture’ is bad, I do think what mainstream media has hijacked and turned it into can dangerous at times, but on the flipside we can’t all just cry foul and attribute every gender identity case to that, some people just want to be the opposite sex and we should let them do what they want.

This is why LGBT have high suicide rates, people need a parent's love and approval. I would wager that Xavier will go on to take his own life, and we will see Elon blame the woke mind virus and not realize it was himself.

In 2017 when gay marriage was legal everywhere and society was more accepting of the trans community, 34% of LGBTQ say they attempted suicide. In 2023 41% of LGBTQ say they thought about suicide in the past year.

You want to blame parents and an unsympathetic society, but as society becomes more accepting of LGBTQ they are actually even more depressed. Hint. Don't blame parents, don't blame conservatives, don't blame heterosexuals. Blame social media. But that's only if you care about getting to the root of the problem rather than being able to finger point at someone you don't like. My guess is you'll continue doing the latter

They had high suicide rates well before social media Patrick. Adults need acceptance too, but Xavier grew up with Elon, and if a child of any age, has the love and support of at least one parent, they can make it through the rejection of society. But when there is no one to lean on, they are alone. And when you have no one in your corner, not even your own father, suicide looks attractive.

When one is an adult, one can make those kinds of life altering, permanent decisions. Not a child/minor. Talk of suicide (to parents) is fear mongering.

Do people think all of a sudden, mankind has just suddenly become more gay/transgender/whatever letter - these current percentages are off the chart - all this stuff just confuses/pressures already unstable kids.
