Super bowl predictions? Lots of people are high on the Lions which is weird to see considering their history.

Chiefs 3-peat. No ones beating them.

I’d say they’re the favorite but it’s football. There are a lot of good teams and anyone can have a great day. The Bengals with Burrow back are dangerous, as are the Ravens.
San Fran in the NFC will be right back there as well.

This reads like something you’d see in the youtube comment section.

Re: Football
You can bump this is if I’m wrong, but I think it’s genuinely impossible to win 3 Super Bowls in a row. It relies so much more on luck than skill to win 10-11 consecutive elimination games in a row, which is what the Chiefs will have to do, while also avoiding key injuries.
They could have easily lost 5 of their 7 playoff wins over the last 2 years, eventually, that luck is gonna run out, some key play is gonna finally go against them.

Looks like 49ers are about to trade Aiyuk, this will be a huge loss for them.

It usually is, but I honestly don't see anyone competing with the Chiefs. They'll have their struggles early on, but get things rolling in November on their way to the 1 seed again. Buffalo has fallen off, Miami aren't real contenders, Baltimore can't be trusted with Lamar Jackson passing the ball in the playoffs. The only team that has a chance would be Cincy, but I'm curious to see how Joe Burrow returns after injury. All signs point to KC going back to the Super Bowl again. It all depends who comes out of the NFC. Even then, KC with Mahomes at the helm are the favorites.

Re: NFL Football
Bears are loaded, if Caleb becomes even 80% of what is projected of him, we'll be happy as Bears fans. He doesn't even have to be the top QB in the league, we'll take a top 5ish QB, obviously not this season, rookies coming out strong out of the starting gate like Stroud last season are the outlier and not the norm but I wanna see him make strides during the season, he's definitely has the weapons around him, I want to see him become the franchise QB we've been waiting for for decades.

Re: NFL Football
Vikings rookie quarterback J.J. McCarthy will undergo surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell confirmed Tuesday that McCarthy needs the surgery but said the team does not have a specific timeline for how long he will be sidelined.
A decision will be made at the time of the operation whether McCarthy's meniscus requires a trimming or a complete repair, which will determine the length of his recovery.
McCarthy complained about knee soreness over the weekend, and underwent an MRI on Monday night. With the No. 10 overall draft selection sidelined, Sam Darnold now is squarely in line be the Vikings' Week 1 starting quarterback.

Let's not forget the Chiefs lost 6 times last year and were only the 3 seed, then had to squeak out 3 playoff games they could have easily lost. And now in addition to the Ravens & Bills still being threats, the the Bengals are getting Burrow back, the Jets are getting Rodgers, the Chargers have Harbaugh running the show, Stroud will likely only improve from his rookie year etc.
The AFC is absurdly loaded, it just might be the most stacked conference I've ever seen. The idea no one can compete with the Chiefs when they're going to have to get through 2-3 juggernauts just to make the Super Bowl is simply not based in reality.
The last team to go for a 3peat, the '05 Pats, went from b2b 14 win seasons to 10-6 and getting bounced in the 2nd round. I'm not saying the Chiefs can't win or that they aren't the favorites, but having a bullseye on your back takes it's toll. Every team is going to circle their game with them on the schedule, and for a lot of teams, it's going to be their Super Bowl. And like I said earlier, eventually, the law of averages is going to catch up with them and their luck is going to run out in one of these playoff games.

The thing is, the Chiefs won in a down year. Despite losing Sneed they got significantly better in the off-season and will be offensively elite again. On paper they have a top tier defense.
It's true the AFC is stacked, but the 2023 gauntlet the Chiefs faced will not be replicated. The Ravens and 9ers were historically great, and they'll take a step back this year. The Bill's haven't improved and if anything will decline. Bengals still have massive O-line issues (their 1st round pick is already injured), plus Burrow is coming off an extremely delicate injury that could go either way.
Basically, Chiefs got better while their competition in the playoffs will almost certainly be worse.
Like you said, 3-peating is just preposterously tough in the NFL but if anyone can do it, it's Mahomes.
