This might have been the most penalized game I've ever seen.

The jets kinda got screwed too. There were absurd penalties both ways but taking that TD away from them in the 4th quarter destroyed their momentum and it was such a ticky tack holding call. I don't understand why the refs have to throw so many flags... they ruined the game with the constant stoppages and manipulation.

The NFL has an uncanny way to implement unnecessary rules that ruin the product on the field. The new illegal formation penalty gets called at least 5x a game. And just look at kickoffs, they implemented this entirely new strategy, and we still see touchbacks 80% of the time. At this point, they should just get rid of it, seeing a returner down the ball in the endzone provides zero entertainment value for anybody.

Davante Adams is off to the Big Apple. The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to trade the star wide receiver to the New York Jets, according to NFL Media. This comes after the relationship between Las Vegas and Adams fractured in recent weeks, leading to the wideout reportedly telling the team that he would prefer to be traded. All that has led to Adams, in fact, being moved and now joining Aaron Rodgers and the Jets

It's definitely worth it since they're all in on Rodgers, but it could be too little too late.

The Jets record is poor but they have serious talent on both sides of the ball. I hope they can turn it around.

The Cleveland Browns are trading wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.
In the trade, the Browns will receive a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-round selection in exchange for Cooper and a 2025 sixth-round pick, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Cooper fills the No. 1 receiver void for the Bills that was opened when the team traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans before the season.
Cooper, 30, has 24 receptions for 250 yards and two touchdowns for the Browns this season, his third with the franchise.

Is it me or did they get these receivers for dirt cheap? I can't speak for their contracts or the salary situations they'll inherit, but just a 3rd round pick for perennial pro bowl receivers in their early 30's, including a bonafide elite one in Adams? That seems like a borderline steal to me.

ATLANTA -- Tom Brady's purchase of a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders was approved by NFL team owners Tuesday.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion, who played 23 seasons with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, takes approximately 5% control of the Raiders. Brady needed to receive 24 of 32 votes at the league's annual fall meetings in Atlanta.
Former Raiders and Patriots defensive lineman Richard Seymour's purchase of a minority stake in the Raiders also was approved by owners Tuesday.
Brady's deal was initially agreed upon in May 2023, but it took owners 17 months to give their approval over concerns he was receiving too much of a discount from Raiders majority owner Mark Davis.
Brady's new job as a broadcaster with Fox also was an issue because it could represent a conflict of interest.
