Should've been a 5 yard penalty on the Raiders. Which would've made the kick harder but not impossible. Carlson is known for his leg even though he missed some in this game. Raiders had the momentum driving up the field as quickly as they did. This is typical Chiefs stuff. The NFL has many billions of dollars invested in Mahomes. When you give somebody a 500 million dollar contract that means youre expecting to make huge money off them. I know you guys can't comprehend this is a business... but it is.

Sure but the ref blowing the whistle is the crux of it.

Either way, I don’t think there’s any sort of conspiracy. The Chiefs get the benefit of the doubt a lot when other teams wouldn’t. But as I’ve said earlier, they’ve earned it. They’ve been quite fortunate quite a few times this year. It happens.

In fairness, I do think Caleb is getting a pass on that ending by taking THAT long to get a play off, then mindlessly throwing a deep ball to run out the rest of the clock. But I understand he's a rookie, so you can't kill him for that. But to have 30 seconds and a timeout and not even get a FG attempt off is absolutely inexcusable, literally some of the worst clock management I've ever seen.

Caleb took all that time because that's how long it took for him to get a play from the sidelines but I blame Eberflus, when he saw that time was running down, he should've called the time out at around the 20 second mark, inexcusable to see his rookie QB flailing around trying to set up a play, call the effing TO and run two last plays, one of which should have been a FG attempt or worst case, a Hail Mary... Flus is just a horrible time manager, he also had a TO left vs Washington where he should've called it, let his D get gathered and have a breather before that Hail Mary that they connected on...
