When you are getting out played by so many players in your prime you can't be considered the GOAT without more elite seasons going forward. Simple as that.

He has plenty of time to get there but 7 seasons is not enough when you are getting compared to a guy who was elite in his 40s. Mahomes was getting beat by a guy in his 40s. It's not like Brady was in his prime then. Put prime Brady in today's rules and it would be a light show.

Longevity matters, and is always a point that gets brought up when comparing LeBron to MJ.

Aaron Rodgers was getting the same goat talk at one point. Until he wasn’t. And miss me with it being different due to 3 Sbs. He was said to make throws no other QB in NFL history could make. You’re not getting goat status over someone like Brady so easily. Nor should you. You have to have some sort of dislike about Brady to heavily lean on the other side.
