2. If they went through all the trouble to carry out this attack to murder 3000 civilians, why wouldn't they just plant WMD's in Iraq to justify their invasion? That honestly makes zero sense, and I'd love to hear an explanation for why they would do this.

There were multiple enemies of the USA that have nukes and uranium enrichment facilities. Russia and Iran for starters.

How many times has the public been warned about our enemies having nukes? A million times from 1950-1990. That doesn't move the needle.

The emotional impact of our greatest city having its biggest buildings blown up? That generates a tremendous emotional response from the public. Not really that hard to figure out.

3. Why would they schedule Bush to be at an elementary school the morning of the attack? You could argue it makes it seem like they were that unprepared for the attack, but I don't see a real benefit to having him recorded live while the events are going on.
