I don't think we'll find out the winner of the election on Tuesday night except for the possibility of Pennsylvania being called for either Trump or Harris. Whomever wins PA will most probably be the president elect...

Re: 2024 US Elections thread
70 million have already voted. That's roughly half of the 2020 total vote. And 55% female.
Trump needs males to show up big on election day.

Why? Are you implying that females don't vote for Trump?

Latest polls now more favorable for Harris but let's be honest, it's a really good possibility pollsters don't know wtf is going on

Genuinely astounding how dumb you are. If Harris is winning in the polls people who are leaning towards her but have reservations about supporting her would be LESS likely to vote (loyal dems will vote for her regardless so they’re not even taken into account).
I’m not saying she’ll win btw I’m just saying that’s an insane conclusion to draw from what dude posted.

I believe even Nate Silver called out these fake polls that have just been released in the last few days.

Not my fault you don't know how to interpret stuff, this is really basic dawg. And if Harris wins, I'm pretty sure you're going to claim these polls favoring Trump were put out by the Dems to inspire people to vote for Harris, which will make this whole conservation very ironic.

It goes both ways, discouraged Kamala voters can be more likely to vote if they see this is a closer race.

Re: 2024 US Elections thread
My biggest concern if I'm the Dems is the last 2 elections the polls completely underestimated Trump's support, according to the polls he was supposed to lose in 2016 and lose pretty convincingly in 2020
If that same pattern repeats itself, she can't win.

Have you talked to Democrats? They vote regardless of whether they think their candidate will win. It's the independents who make the difference, as always. If Harris loses it will be because she didn't do things a lot of potential voters wanted her to do. There is a pretty decent voting block that would love to vote for Harris but is uneasy because of the US's continued genocide in Palestine and she's been the VP for that. Progressive voters who might be unwilling to vote for her would give her votes if she committed to Medicare for all and free college, federal weed, stuff like that. That's why Hillary lost, she only appealed to diehard Democrats.

So 100% of registered Democrats vote in every election, seems legit.

Read the whole post. Obviously not, but voter registration doesn't necessarily tell you much about your current ideology, my dad is a registered independent and I would say he's definitely a Democrat for instance.
