Maybe but in the absence of any real evidence besides your personal suspicions, not really much point to speculating and really, I have a hard time thinking that kind of nepotism wouldn't have been uncovered by now. Plus the NBA higher ups from 1997 when Duncan got drafted to 2023 when Wemby came into the league have changed over, so basically you're saying the Spurs front office has some running 'in' with the league over multiple decades.

Its Luka, youre gonna put Ant/Shai infront of him cause we played 25% of the season?

No, because Shai plays both ends. He was 2nd in the MVP voting last season and was 1st team All NBA for the 2nd straight season.

umm the pattern is very real evidence. it's like people going missing with a common friend...the authorities would be all over that sh1t. patterns give justice to theories.

He was easily better in their playoff series.
I am not the one that voted him 2nd in the MVP race. That actually happened no matter how much you try to pretend it didn't.
Unlike Luka his game hasn't fallen off so far this season.

Just got done watching the game vs Kings. Well played game. The Spurs moved the ball pretty well. Wemby took 9 3s but they were good looks other than one end of quarter heave.
I wouldn't worry about his 3 pt volume at this point. Let him have his fun. Less wear and tear on the body taking 3s.
As he matures physically and the Spurs get better then we can talk about him being more selective from 3.

I told you dudes he was gonna be banging threes. He is shooting a lot of them, but the only ones that worry me are step backs. He's basically wide open because of how tall he is. He's a good shooter. It's not wasted, but I'd like to see him use that more on the block to get every time cash shots. Should be like FTs.
I wonder what player would fit best with him...
