This is a pretty bad look for Trump and the "Back the Blue" movement. Julian Khater was one of those sentenced and had a hand in the killing of Brian Sicknik, who was assaulted and died days later. Trump is basically sending the message that even violent protesters get a pardon, much like people who committed acts of violence during the George Floyd protests.
