Re: My MVP 1980-1999
You can't slide a sheet of paper between Olajuwon and Robinson in either 94 or 95 production-wise. The difference for Olajuwon in 94 was that he won DPOY along with a few more wins. And even that was by one vote over David Robinson. In 95, Robinson powered his team to 62 wins while Houston only won 47.

Debatable. But this is about the MVP. And you also took Bird ahead of Magic, you took 1 1st place vote over 65.
Its likely you dont happen to see something that they didnt.

Me too. If playoff then it's clear Hakeem destroyed Robinson that season. RS tho, I think Robinson's clearly better.

Robinson had the much worse team in '94. By 95, they added Sean Elliot and Avery Johnson back which was better than anyone they had in '94. It's not "Robinson powered his team to 62 wins." He was better in '94 than in '95.

He might have been better in 94 than 95, but he wasn't clearly better than Olajuwon in either 94 or 95.
At least not in the regular season, which is the only time period that matters. However, the playoffs serve as a way to vindicate who we thought was the better player in the regular season. In 94, Olajuwon was vindicated by leading his team to a championship while Robinson lost in the first round in 4 games. We know what happened in 95. Robinson deserved his MVP in 95 even though he had his a$$ handed to him in the playoffs that season. But Olajuwon certainly doesn't deserve any criticism for 94 seeing how he vindicated not only his MVP but his DPOY.

To me he clearly performed much better in 94 and better in 95.
It's not a critic towards Olajuwon though.

Russ won for three reasons...the first one being the team Russ played for gave him the rebounding numbers to get the triple doubles. Adams doesn't care about stats so often he would just let Russ get the gimmies. The second reason was new media members wanted to stick it to KD and make a story/rivalry by supporting Westbrook and Harden as MVP guys. And the third tier was Jordan old head cultists that didn't want Lebron to get number 5, similar to how Kareem cultists didn't want Jordan to get 6.
In hindsight the MVP's should have gone...
79/80 - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
80/81 - Julius Erving
81/82 - George Gervin
82/83 - Moses Malone
83/84 - Larry Bird
84/85 - Alex English
85/86 - Larry Bird
86/87 - Michael Jordan
88/89 - John Stockton
89/90 - Magic Johnson
90/91 - Michael Jordan
91/92 - Michael Jordan
92/93 - Charles Barkley
93/94 - Shaquille O'Neal
94/95 - David Robinson
95/96 - Michael Jordan
96/97 - Grant Hill
97/98 - Karl Malone
98/99 -Tim Duncan
