Aside from the political standpoint, BYD just announced that their new charging stations can recharge a battery in 1/3rd of the time that a Tesla staion can.

And then the new Mercedes CLA can go 500 miles on a full battery (where the Model-3 can only go 350) and it costs around the same price.

The Mercedes CLA also just has a much better aesthetic and simply looks cooler than any Tesla which badly need a revamp and haven't changed much since their inception.

And then, yeah, the politics. Europe has stopped buying them, and China sales have fallen off. Their main demographic was left leaning eco-minded people, good-ole-boys aren't buying Teslas. They are being vandalized left and right, and dealerships can't even give them away right now.

Musk predicts that Optimus robots could generate over $10 trillion in revenue long-term, potentially becoming the most valuable part of Tesla's business.

Musk makes lots of predictions and promises that fail. He promised to have the US getting around in self-driving cars by now, but Tesla has fallen behind in that race and Waymo (owned by Google) is leading the country in self driving vehicles.

He also promised to have humans on Mars by now, but we all know that will never happen.

Twitter (X) was supposed to be the "Everything App". A place where you can do just about anything online you can imagine. Pay bills, make sports bets, buy stocks, make purchases at stores, etc. It will never be that.

So I wouldn't hold my breath on Tesla robots taking over, odds are it is another broken promise that will end up losing to another company who is more focused.

I personally feel like he will deliver on Affordable Robots & Affordable Housing... He's not going to give a $hit about competition in the EV industry... but who knows what kinds of new models he may present in the future.

Elon is living in the future... He's 5 chess moves ahead of the game.... The EV industry was just a stepping stone to bigger and better things... again, like robots & cheap housing.

These car companies would do better if they would go to a subscription model.

Automate the stations to swap batteries vs charge.

They can charge at a more economical time but also have a stock ready. This would completely eliminate the major issues.

It looks like the Tesla "affordable tiny homes" are all fabricated rumors. Tesla is not selling or making tiny homes from what I can see.

A major Tesla investor made the stunning decision to call on Elon Musk to step down as head of the company as its stock prices plunge amid a nationwide boycott.

Ross Gerber went as far as to say that Musk has 'destroyed' the electric vehicle maker's reputation due to his work as the head of President Donald Trump's Department of Government Efficiency.

'I think Tesla needs a new CEO and I decided today I was going to start saying it, and so this is the first show that I'm saying it on,' Gerber told host Darren McCaffrey on Sky's Business Live on Tuesday.

'It's time for somebody to run Tesla,' he continued, arguing that Musk has stretched himself too thin across his work at DOGE and at X.

'There are too many important things Tesla's doing, so either Elon should come back to Tesla and be the CEO of Tesla and give up his other jobs, or he should focus on the government and keep doing what he is doing, but find a suitable CEO of Tesla.'

Gerber went on to say Tesla is 'absolutely' in crisis, as Business Insider reports that its shares plummeted 53 percent since reaching a record high in December, and its market value plunged by more than $800 billion during the same time period.

'The company's reputation has just been destroyed by Elon Musk,' he argued. 'Sales are plummeting, so yeah, it's a crisis.

'You literally can't sell the best product in the marketplace because the CEO is so divisive.'
