If he is indeed smaller than 6'7" it would mean that his rebounding feat and defensive skills are simply beyond amazing because he is the shortest NBA player to lead the NBA in rebounding multilple times and there is no other player, who won 4 consecutive Defensive Player of the Year that are 6'7" and under.

There is a huge possibility that Ben Wallace is between 6'5"-6'6". At first i thought he was a solid 6'7" but latest picture in gettyimages prove that he is indeed under 6'7".
6'5 3/4" Ben Wallace, 6'9 3/4" Rasheed Wallace and 6'5" Rip Hamilton
6'7" Luol Deng, 6'7" Andres Nocioni and 6'1" Ben Gordon
About Ben Wallace Barefeet Height
Ben—who would eventually grow to 6-7 and 240 pounds (he’s listed at 6-9, but that’s counting his hair)—was a strong, wiry kid who excelled at baseball, football and basketball. By the time he graduated from Central High School in Hayneville, he would earn All-State honors in each of these sports. He also ran track.
I do not think that Wallace is a solid 6'7" could have been 6'5'.75" Barefeet because he is at least 4 inches shorter than Rasheed Wallace. (6'9.75")

Re: Real NBA Height
First of all the 6'4.75" measurement for MJ came out of nowhere. That was from the Olympics...they also listed Scottie Pippen at 6'5.75". They clearly just knocked of 1 1/4 inches because it was well documented Pippen grew to 6'7.5" by the time of the 1987 draft(over 6'8" in shoes)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3kY1...elated&search=
C-Webb is also a solid 6'9" barefoot I found that measurement on the archive search. Corey Brewer is 6'6.75" too. DeuceWallaces Dennis Rodman has admitted to being 6'6" and he guarded Shaq. As far as angles most of them aren't perfect but a lot of them can give you a decent idea. Rodman was 6'6" barefoot but he wore big shoes that made him atleast 6'8" so he could guard bigger players. Ben probably does the same thing.

Yeah but you have to use your own judgement. btw espn.com said Ben Wallace claimed he is 6'7" The back to back pic of Shaq and Yao is a good one. Same with all of the pictures of T-Mac with Kobe and Carter or the Kobe and MJ pictures.

Do the NBA.com heights have them in shoes?
Seems like everyone is listed everywhere about 2" taller than they actually are. Probably a trick of the NBA trade, NO?

Yes, 70 percent of NBA players height that are listed in the NBA.com have all of them in shoes. This is a trick of the trade since the NBA Merge with the ABA almost 30 years ago. Legendary players like Bill Russell, who is a legit 6'9" would be listed at 6'10" or 6'11" on todays NBA Game.

I find this 1998 Draft Article describing the game of Dirk Nowitzki after the Milwaukee Bucks drafted him and traded him to the Dallas Mavericks for Tractor Traylor.
He was first noticed by the NBA world when a team of American pro stars, including Scottie Pippen, Jason Kidd, Gary Payton and Charles Barkley, came to Germany and played an exhibition game against a German national youth team in September 1997. During the game, Nowitzki dunked over Charles Barkley. Barkley saw a future superstar in the gangly German teenager and later admitted to offering to pay him "any amount of money he wanted if he would come to his alma mater, Auburn."
Nowitzki did not truly gain international attention, however, until the March 1998 Nike Hoop Summit in San Antonio, Texas, where he notched 33 points and 14 rebounds to lead a team of international juniors to a surprise victory over a U.S. junior team.
9 - Milwaukee Bucks - Dirk Nowitzki - Wertzburg Germany -
6'10" 235lbs. Scout called him a Porsche and said Shrempf is a VW compared to him? . 28.5 points, 9.8 rebounds in Germany. I hate to see a kraut like this do well, but he looks like he can really play. The only question is whether he is soft or not (i.e. Kukoc). Hell of a shooter and only 19.

Dirk Nowitzki is officially confirmed at a legit 6'10" and not thet 7'0 listing in the NBA Website.
Fabcasablanca and her boyfriend Fefe are both wrong!!!!
