Very possible. He measured 6'10.25" at 19. Bargnani was listed 209 cm in Europe.

Compare the difference between Bosh and 6'9.5" Howard and 6'11" Patrick Ewing on page 25. Bosh is a solid 6'11" maybe 6'11.25"

    Question Re: Real NBA Height

Doctors said for Mile Ilic of New Jersey that he will still grow when he was 21-22 (then he was 7'1'').

    Is that possible??

Most men are pretty much done growing by 18...some by 20. However for someone that tall that is very possible.

Dorell Wright is now listed at 6'9" on NBA.com while Tyrus Thomas is now listed 6'8". Why didn't they update Bynum to 7'1"?

    This is my estimate

    Dennis Rodman- 6'6"
    Scottie Pippen- 6'7"

I would give MJ a full 6'5", but I agree with Rodman and Pippen.

I'd give Jordan 6'5.5" because I think Kobe is that height and Kobe and Jordan are the same height.

Michael Jordan was never over 6'5" in his prime and he have also a surgery in his sophomore season in the NBA that is why he only played 21 games in the Regular Season. ( which means he is probably 6'4.75" in his peak)

When you are 6'4 3/4" and 6'5.5" the margin of difference is only .75 inches that is why you can see guys in the NBA, that can actually look like the same height when they are wearing a much thicker shoes. That is what you called as the Barkley or D- Wade effect suddenly they could appear taller in some of the pictures in the gallery.

I still believe Michael Jordan's NBA Pre Draft Measurement of 6'4 7/8, which is technically 6'4 3/4, when you rounded it down to the nearest height chart.

6'4.5" Jerry Stackhouse and 6'4.75" Michael Jordan

6-4 3/4 Michael Jordan and 6-7 Grant Hill

Michael Jordan 6'4.75"", 6'5" Chris Mullin, 6'7.25" Magic Johnson, 6'9" Larry Bird, 6'5" Clyde Drexler and 6'0" John Stockton.

6'4 7/8" would be rounded up to 6'5" for pre-draft stuff. They always round up. That means Kobe is still only 6'5" too. Maybe 6'5" for both Jordan and Kobe?

If Charles Barkley is rounded to 6'4 3/4" from 6'4 5/8" shouldn't Jordan be rounded to 6'5" if he is 6'4 7/8"? That would make Jordan a 1/4" of an inch taller than Barkley.

    Jordan and 6'7.5" Scottie Pippen

If Kobe is still 6'4.75" then 6'5"(6'4 7/8") makes sense for Jordan

Regarding his height: Scottie is measured at 6'7", but his wingspan was 7'1", which is one of the reasons he was such a great defender. I agree, best duo ever. The 96 Bulls could have destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers team of Kobe and Shaq and owned the San Antonio Spurs of Tim Duncan.

I found this article about Scottie Pippen growing up as a basketball player.

    Birth and Childhood and Schooling

He was born on September 25, 1965, In Hamburg, Arkansas and was the youngest son of Preston and Ethal Pippen. He had always loved sports and started to play basketball at 11.

In Tenth grade Scottie made his highschool b-ball team but never got a chance to play. That year Preston, Scotties dad suffered a stroke he was paralized and couldnt talk. He wanted to quit b-ball but decided to become manager of the football team instead. He never showed up to workouts or anything, the b-ball coach thought of cutting him but people on the team changed his mind. In that season Scottie sat the bench once again. In his senoir year he returned to the team, that year he was the starting point guard. No colleges would acept scottie so the coach talked to the b-ball coach at Central Arkansas he acepted Scottie, but Scottie was only 6'1" 150 pounds. The coach said that he would be a person in charge of the equipment. After entering college he had grown to 6'3". Scottie eventually made the team, at the end of the year he was the teams best player. The next year Scottie was 6'5" and 165 pounds, he averaged 20 points a game. When he was a junior he was 6'6" 185 pounds. that year he made the NAIA All-American team. As a Senior he Was now 6'7" and averaged 23.6 points a game 10 rebounds and made 60% of his shots and was selected to another All-American team.

John Starks is finally confirmed at 6'3" not the 6'5" that NBA listed him a few years ago.

Check this out even basketball Reference finally downgrade his height listing:

John Starks 6'3" and Dr. J Julius Erving a legit 6'6" possibly a little bit of shorter now that he is almost 57 yrs.old....

Alonzo Mourning is measured at 6'8"

In a league where centers tower over seven feet, Alonzo Mourning made his presence known with an inflated number that added two inches to his 6-8 height and with an intensity that measured off the charts.
    http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpag...ng%2C%20Alonzo

Charles Barley admitted he is 6'4 3/4"

Rare numbers: 20,000 points, 12,000 rebounds, 4,000 assists. Only Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Charles Barkley have done all those numbers. The astonishment is that Barkley did it from beneath the clouds. Listed at 6-6 but actually 6-4 3/4 with a body and will of iron, he worked with such ferocity and strength that Celtics center Robert Parish once said, "When Charles leans on you, it's like being crushed by a trash compactor."

John Starks admitted he was 6'2" in Slam Magazine. Mourning is 6'9.5"...the 6'8" is exaggerating. People say Barkley is 6'4" but he is actually almost 6'5".

The NBA has changed many players listed heights. Paul Pierce is now listed 6'7" Andre Igoudala is now listed 6'6", Josh Howard is now listed 6'5", Danny Graner is now listed 6'8" too.

    Mourning and 6'8" Charles Oakley

Mourning with 6'5" Michael Jordan and 6'4.75" Charles Barkley

    Mourning and 6'8" Karl Malone

Mourning is 6'9" like he was listed at the 2000 Olympics

Amir Johnson and 6'5" Jason Maxiell

The NBA has changed many players listed heights. Paul Pierce is now listed 6'7" Andre Igoudala is now listed 6'6", Josh Howard is now listed 6'5", Danny Graner is now listed 6'8" too.

I think Amir Johnson looks like 6'7.75" Barefeet or a weak 6'8".
