I don't know, what kind of cheap shots were taken against him, but dude was great for a 19 year old. His stats are comparable to Brons and Melos rookie stats, and he was not scared at clutch shots. Just as VCMVP1551 said, let him get used to NBA, and gain a bit more weight.
Then he will be more than great.
He will be a GOAT candidate.(hopefully he won't strugle from the injuries)

Sorry, but he can't stay at the 2...he needs to be closer to the hoop and maybe only shoot 2-3 threes a game...The thing I love about this kid is his work ethic, which has been well documented...pair him with Mayo after this year and you have something to buld on... unfortunately, the sonics drafted Green(Hawes or Yi would've been a good pick), who's a nice player but his best position is small forward also; however, he's gotta go so hopefully him getting alot of exposure in the current starting lineup will create a fairly high demand from other squads. I think the Sonics should play fast next year with a lineup of:

PG- Ridnour
SG- Mayo/Gordon, etc
SF-Durant
PF- WIlcox
C- Collison

This guy has guard skills and athletisism but at 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan he has center length. As Flamboyant mentioned he seems like a clutch shooter for a rookie too. While I don't know if he'll ever have the all around game Lebron does he may end up a better scorer because of his great free throw shooting and jump shooting potential.

I think Durant would probably be a little more effective as a 3 as well, because for now the 3 point shot is not his friend, and thats necessary from your shooting guard. Does have the potential to be a beast in this league though.
