Women peak in the sexual market place in their early 20s if not late teens. Men peak in the sexual market place during their mid to late 30s.
It goes without saying that there are outliers, but those are the averages and that is why you see older men with younger women more frequently than the other way around.
Women want looks and providers. Men want looks and caretakers. Providers get better with age. Caretakers are most capable in their youth. It's nature.

I do find it unusual because I usually don't see huge age gaps and it's not something I'm personally accustomed to. Maybe 10-15 year gaps at the most. But honestly as long as they're both adults and it's legal it's their choice and none of my business nor anyone else's business about their consenting relationship.
